The village faces the south towards the main arm of the Nordfjord, with beautiful views of the Yksnelvefjella, Gjegnen, Bukkenibba, and Skjæringane mountains. There are marked hiking trails to Torheimsætra and Hornet. From Hornet, you have a fantastic view of the mountains in the south, the sea to the west, and the Lodalskåpa nunatak and the Jostedalsbreen glacier in the east. There are good fishing spots along the beach.
